Count EVERYDAY using the counting chart (learners must see the numbers in front of them), from 0-30 and backwards from 30-0.

Use your counting chart to ask the learner what number comes before and after a given number.

 

e.g. Put your finger on 5, now show me what number comes after 5 = 6 comes after 5.

 

 

Practice to write the number names everyday up to six:

Learn the family bonds of 10 (repeat, repeat, repeat until the learner knows it).
